2027: City Boy Movement Stakeholder Onyebuchi Rallies Support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Hands Isiukwuato Coordinator Selection to Grassroots
A prominent stakeholder of the City Boy Movement in Abia State, Iroham Kenneth Onyebuchi, has reaffirmed his strong backing for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement addressed to the movement’s leadership across all levels, Onyebuchi reiterated his unwavering commitment to the ideals of the City Boy Movement and his readiness to contribute to its continued growth and success.
However, citing his demanding schedule and frequent travels outside Nigeria, he revealed his inability to effectively oversee grassroots engagement required for appointing a Local Government Coordinator for Isiukwuato LGA.
In a move aimed at strengthening inclusiveness and internal democracy, Onyebuchi delegated the responsibility of selecting the Isiukwuato Coordinator to local stakeholders and members actively involved at the grassroots level.
According to him, those closest to the community are best positioned to make decisions that reflect the true strength and interest of the movement, adding that this approach would foster unity, ownership, and deeper commitment among members.

He expressed confidence in the leadership capacity of Isiukwuato stakeholders, describing them as experienced and capable of advancing the movement’s objectives.
Onyebuchi emphasized that his decision does not reflect any decline in loyalty but rather highlights his dedication to a transparent and participatory process.
He concluded by appreciating members for their understanding and urged continued unity and support toward securing victory for President Tinubu in 2027.
