The Abia State Chapter of the City Boy Movement (CBM) has taken a significant step toward strengthening youth-driven development by formalising a strategic partnership with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, PhD.

This milestone followed a high-level courtesy visit to his office in Abuja by a delegation led by the State Director, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, widely known as Don Lulu. In a symbolic gesture of collaboration and shared vision, the Deputy Speaker was officially decorated as a Partner of the Movement—an honour that reflects his consistent contributions to youth inclusion, leadership development, and national growth.

Speaking during the visit, Kalu expressed deep appreciation for the recognition, reiterating his unwavering commitment to youth-focused governance. He stressed that empowering young Nigerians is not just a priority but a necessity for sustainable development and national transformation.

The engagement also served as a launchpad for future collaboration, with both parties laying the groundwork for the upcoming Abia State Youth Empowerment Programme scheduled for April 25, 2026. The initiative aims to open up opportunities, inspire innovation, and create impactful platforms for young people across the state.

In addition, the Movement commended the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, affirming its alignment with policies that promote youth mobilisation, empowerment, and inclusive national development.

Reaffirming its mission, the City Boy Movement Abia State Chapter pledged continued dedication to grassroots engagement, unity, and building a future anchored on active youth participation and measurable impact.
